This began as the Spanish-language version of the International Star Bulletin published in Ommen, Holland, under the direction of Emily Lutyens and D. Rajagopal and others after Annie Besant in January prematurely proclaimed that the World Teacher (Jiddu Krishnamurti) had come.
After Krishnamurti renounced his supposed messiahship and dissolved the Order of the Star in August 1929, the Spanish version became in September 1929 the Boletin Internacional de la Estrella and then, in January 1931 Revista de la Estrella, al devoted to the continuing cult of Krishnamurti.
