Journal of Practical Metaphysics, The. This was the journal of the Metaphysical Club of Boston, founded in 1895, the first association devoted to New Thought properly so called. It was merged into The Arena. Noted in the literature review in Neue Metapsychische Rundschau, June-July 1908. Horatio Willis Dresser (1866-1954) was the son of Annetta Gertrude Dresser and Julius Dresser, who were among the first practitioners of what would become New Thought, as their son was its preeminent historian.
