This was an "Open letter to speedily advancing persons," published by Magnificent Consummation, Inc., one of the offshoots of the Ballards' "I AM" movement of the 1930s. Both Garman (Herman) Van Polen (1889-1979) and Evangeline Balfour Manchester Benton (1900/1910-1968) were former students of the "I AM" movement and then of Geraldine Innocente's Bridge to Freedom. They started Magnificent Consummation in Grass Valley, California, as the vehicle for promoting energy healing through electromagnetism, with Evangeline, who had begun channeling various Ascended Masters in the late 1950s, delivering communications under the aegis of the New Age Clinic of Spiritual Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona. The Magnificent Consummation was the creation of the Ruby Light of the Sixth Ray directed by Sananda, Administrator of the Ruby Focus with his complement, Lady Nada, through Garman and Evangeline, who had "been voted" as Chohans of the Ruby Focus. Their work was to create the Rainbow Ray of all seven colors that would initiate the Aquarian Age.

Garman Van Polen was Dutch and founded Magnificent Consummations, Inc., to promote electromagnetic energy healing and "natural" farming without pesticides. Evangeline Balfour Van Polen had a more complex history. Her maiden name of Balfour is the stage name of her mother, a noted soprano of the period, and may not be accurate, and her birth date can be anywhere between 1900 and 1910. She has no known history before the 1940s, except for the claim of her membership in the I AM movement. In 1942 and continuing through the mid-1950s she began appearing as "Evangeline the Graphologist" at a variety of supper clubs and lounges in Spokane, Washington, and on the East Coast, and by 1955 she was advertising "Become Aware of your Potentialities!" and offering lessons on graphology for $5.00, and appearing regularly at The Spiritualist Church of Divine Light in Escondido, California. In 1957 she published through The New Age Clinic of Spiritual Therapy in Los Angeles The Singing Infinite. This taught the path to earning immortality and the "Higher Mind Ascension" through "The Father Consciousness" and various "mantrums" for "for Psychcological Therapy," "for the Feeling of Joy," "for Painless Childbirth," "for Weight Reduction," etc.

By 1963 the Van Polens had moved to Sedona, Arizona, and formed the Ruby Focus group which began to communicate "thru E" (which much be Evangeline) with entities like Father Aeolus, the Cosmic Holy Essence, Mother Pallas Athena, the Father-Mother Fire-Flame-Light in the Realms of Light, and the Queen of Light (Lady Master Theresa Martin). The group, like many of the other I AM offshoots , did not see itself as antagonistic to or on conflict with other such groups, but rather as part of an aeons-long effort by the Masters. Master El Morya and his complement Miriam made the point explicitly.

"Let it be known that WE are not the exclusive possession of any one sect on the face of your Earth, Our Earth, inasmuch as I AM (WE ARE) on Earth even more than in the Cosmic Realms. I give a brief resume. I was Melchior of the era of Little LORD JESUS. I was one of the THREE who created Theosophy, The Secret Doctrine, etc. I became a Catalyst for ASTARA, the Matrix of those two sweet, young people, Earlyne and Robert Chaney. Then came My project, The BRIDGE TO FREEDOM, which still stands on the Holy Grounds of Long Island. Beloved Mary Myneta is one of the flourishing seeds of LOVE from these days. She is THE MENTOR. Oh, how We love her! WE poured our First Ray Energies into the Summit Lighthouse, and shared their birth-pains with them, and will watch their eventual maturity." Mary Myneta (Mildred Myneta Taylor Boos (1903-1983), who wrote regularly for this journal, was one of the principal figures of Bridge to Freedom and a contributor to The Mentor and to The Father's House, which she also helped edit. Ruby Focus added to the usual messages from the Masters the notion (shared by other Bridge to Freedom offshoots like Solograph and The Golden Dawn) that the Masters inhabited spaceships hovering over the earth. "Oh, yes indeed! These SPACESHIPS are stationed at strategic points to protect humanhood when there is need to be taken up. Radiate LOVE and ask any request you wish, and there will be a reaction from the most magnificent vibrations of Electronic Energies." These astronaut Masters actively watched and participated in the Ruby Focus festivals: "Beloved SANANDA of SPACESHIP No. 10 and the CRYSTAL TEMPLE in the Ethers over the City of the ANGELS,, and also EOLIA of the GREAT CENTRAL SUN enjoyed these sessions of the RAINBOW FESTIVAL. FATHER KUTHUMI was in evidence. GAUTAMA, THE LORD OF THE WORLD, and Beautiful DIVINO, THE GOD OF LOVE, were in the sky above the ROSE GARDEN in a Golden Chariot. Thousands of MASTERS were there--so many--and it is a good provision that the ETHERIC knows no space or distance." With their help, "Your Earth shall take its place in the family of NATIONS again. You shall travel from this Planet to other planets in your Spiritual Bodies. Those who are not yet able to do that shall have their Space Ships (Flying Saucers as you sometimes call them), and shall go from one Planet freely to the other and shall travel thruout this Universe and thruout the Galaxy and even to other Galaxies. This is possible. All of the other planets have this blessing now; and the Earth shall soon come back into that great blessing."

The group featured gatherings where the channel publicly and consciously recited the Masters' words, healing sessions with invocations of celestial beings, affirmations ("decrees") to bring necessary minerals into the student, and ceremonial Purification rituals in which the Beloved Divine Director takes the students to his "white Acceleration Flame in the Cave of Light to accelerate their frequencies."

The journal offered, in addition to channeled messages, reviews of the books and pamphlets of other small New Age groups and letters from enthusiastic followers. Evangeline later also became president of the ancillary feminist Sisters of the Golden Robe under Lord Maitreya-Divino which seems to have focused on the "fourth-dimensional appearance of Blessed Mother, delivering Her Etheric Self to impregnate Her Loving Essence to heal the ills of man!"
