Hardman was the successor of Nona Brooks as minister of the Church of Divine Science in Denver that propagated Malinda Cramer’s Divine Science. He was also Dean of the Mental Science Institute of Denver, the publisher of the journal, which offered a Course of Training for Teachers and Practitioners. The journal was almost entirely written by Hardmann and featured Daily Lessons in Mental Science with Key Thoughts for each day, news and developments at the Church and Institute, and announcements of Hardman’s lectures around the country.
