This was distributed to subscribers in North America and Europe who were associated with Universal Link and Findhorn. Universal Link arose in England in 1961 among people inspired by the spiritual information coming from Liebe Pugh (1888-1966) in Lancashire, among whom were the founders of Findhorn. She received communications from the Great Masters through the mediumship of Katherine Hayward and then through Richard Grave, who transmitted messages from The Master, who later seems to have identified himself with Liebe, his "earth entity." After her death, the group was merged in 1969 with Universal World Harmony, which became Universal World Harmony Through Service (UWHTS). The organization and this journal were not an offshoot or directly connected with the Ascended Masters of the "I AM" related groups that spring from Bridge to Freedom (q.v.), but both shared the notions of hierarchies of Masters communicating with men, Soul-Rays and Soul-Twin Rays of various hues, Violet Transmuting Flames, cosmic cyclic rhythms of positive and negative vibrations, devas, Messengers of Light, Master Jesus, etc. A notable contributor was "Illiana" (Anita Afton of Brookfield, Massachusetts) who regularly contributed messages from "one who identifies himself as BAN-DHU, from the planet Jamal." All this made the journal a natural home for Mildred Myneta Taylor Boos (1903-1983) who as early as 1971 published in it communications "By the Mentor -- through Mary Myneta." (An eminent scholar has thrown up his hands after failing to discover why she used "Mary" instead of "Mildred," but the identification is certain.) She eventually became an associate editor of this journal and continued to contribute as late as 1979. On her see the notes under The Bridge to Freedom (for which she was a "Messenger"), The Mentor (of which she became an editor and was the "Percipient" in the Sanctuary of the Master's Presence in New York), and Ruby Focus.
