Zhitno Zarno (Grain of Wheat).
1924--1949?
Sofia, Bulgaria.
Language: Bulgarian.
Publisher: Zhitno Zarno.
1/1, 1924.

This was a production of the Universal White Brotherhood founded by Peter Deunov ("Beinsa Douno," 1864-1944). Deunov was a Bulgarian born and American educated Christian mystic and occultist, who combined Orthodoxy, Methodism, eurhythmy, magnetism, Theosophy, with a consoling mystical vision. The title reflects Deunov's teaching that the grain of wheat was the symbol of man's soul. A journal of this name is published currently in Bulgaria.
