This is a notable journal because of the early articles by Eliade and contributions by Raffaele Pettazzoni, Jean Przyluski, Ananda Kentish Coomaraswamy, Jean Coman, and others. The journal published the related Cahiers Zalmoxis of lengthy monographs by authors published in the journal. The volumes have been republished in Romanian by Eugen Ciurtin (Bucharest: Polirom, 2000).
