This was a Kardecist journal that had progressed far beyond the era when such journals would paraphrase Allan Kardec and the early Revue Spirite. It still carried articles on the law of charity and reincarnation, but it focused on the social consequences of spiritism as the "vanguard and herald of peace: progress, the human family, the needs of children and women ("Woman and her Terrestrial Mission"), "Universal Brotherhood and Universal Justice," Mahatma Gandhi, secular education ("La Escuela argentina debe ser y continuar siendo LIBRE, LAICA, TOLERANTE Y FRATERNA"), etc. The journal published balance sheets of the Sociedad Espiritista "Adelante."
