Periodical: Spiritual Truth

Summary:   From Pat Deveney's database:

Spiritual Truth.
An Independent Journal of Spiritual Progress, Perception, Research, Discussion and Testing.
1922--1934 Weekly then monthly
London, England.
Editor: Percival B. Beddow.
1/1, September 15, 1922-1934.
8 pp., three halfpence a copy, 8s. a year.

This was a Christian spiritualist journal, notable because it had several contributions by Arthur Conan Doyle. Beddows had published two long communications through the mediumship of Geraldine Cummins that purported to be from Philip the Evangelist and Cleophas on Jesus Christ whose publication caused controversy in the spiritualist ranks in England during the 1920s over ownership of the reports. Beddows' suicide in October 1934 brought an end to the journal. NSAC, Lily Dale; Skidmore Library, Lily Dale.
