This was a Theosophical journal intended to entertain and uplift young children. It printed energetic marching songs for them, along with "stories of pets" and dubious verse, and promoted the likes of the Golden Chain: A Children's Guild of Kindness ("I am a link in a golden chain of love that stretches round the world, and must keep my link bright and strong . . ."). The Theosophist, September 1911, praised the journal's new garb (light green paper and blue ink) and wished it well.
