This was the product of the merger of Luz y Union and the Theosophical journal Los Albores de la Verdad, a combination reflected in the journal's cover design, three loosely clad young women bearing flowers, a mirror and a lamp of truth, draped over a sphinx. The final surviving issue, from 1919, combined two months, bearing witness to the labor strife tearing Spain at the time, the precursor to the Civil War, and may have been the last published. BNE.
