It was started in 1919 as a supplement to the Telegu journal Prakriti and then after a hiatus begun again in 1927, in conjunction with the Calcutta Nature Healer, which ceased in 1929. It again began publishing in August 1931 and lasted until 1948. The journal carried articles by many Indian practitioners and excerpts from the likes of Benedict Lust, Edmund Szekeley, Edward Albee, Henry Lindlahr, Sebastian Kneipp, and others, whose work was combined with Indian methods like Ayurveda.
