This seems to have been Raymond A. Palmer's (1910-1977) effort to serialize related mysterious material in a book format with art covers. The first issue contained a variety of articles ("I Remember Lemuria," "The Ancient Alphabet," etc.) by Palmer and Richard S. Shaver relating to the Shaver Mystery. Palmer's introduction to the issue gives a detailed account of how he came to know Shaver and learn of the wonders of the subterranean world. Later numbers (with rather lurid covers, one by Shaver) published Shaver's "The Masked World," Myrtle Ruth Duke's "The Lost Continent" and "Mystic Symbol of Mu, the Lost Continent."
