From Pat Deveney's database:
Gnostic Forum, The. This was the last journal published by "Richard, Duc de Palatine" (Ronald John Powell, 1916-1977), a Theosophist, priest of the Liberal Catholic Church, Wandering Bishop of the Gnostic Church, and purveyor of instruction of the occult generally. On him and his work see the notes under The Metaphysician and Lucis Magazine. This was the organ of his Brotherhood & Order of the Pleroma and Sanctuary of the Gnosis, and as such gave lengthy expositions (principally from the "Pistis Sophia" but incorporating a gaggle of modern occultists) of the "Aeons" and their emanations, etc. To these undistinguished contributions the journal added an article by P. Wesley Vega, Ms.D. on "Technique of Invisibility" and various editorial comments on Palatine attempting to incorporate elements of the UFO fever of the time, equating angels with the pilots of the luminous vessels common in Orthodox iconography and with the instructors of the survivors of Atlantis, and speculating that "Jesus was a space traveller and materialized on earth from his space craft in order to establish the Chrestian Religion. Thus when he had completed this task, he was taken into heaven by a cloud or a space craft."
