This was yet another of the Theosophical journals designed to patch over the breaches in the wall of Theosophical brotherhood (The Channel, Theosophical Forum, World Theosophy, etc.). The idea was first broached in 1930 by G. de Purucker and then spread to other branches of the society. This journal was decided upon at the International Theosophical convention held in Toronto in 1935 and was initially published in mimeographed form.
