The journal was largely given over to internecine controversy and to the messages of the spirits of the Eternal Ideal circle. Trevino added an advertisement of his own to the numerous others in the journal, indicating his willingness (for 50 centavos) to reveal the "force, faculty or power" that we all possess that leads to fortune and well-being. The journal carried letter from Jose M. Mora which recorded the "rain of sweets of every kind, small and large” precipitated by a medium in Laredo during a baptism. Mora went on in 1918 to start a new spiritualist journal, La Ofrenda, in Loredo. University of Texas, Austin.
