From Pat Deveney's database:
Chariot, Le. The subscription price included separate supplements on Parapsychologie and etudes des Phenomenes Spirites that were reserved for subscribers alone, the value of which, it was claimed, would more than reimburse the cost of the journal alone. The journal was written at a popular level and espoused no school or doctrine, reflecting the interests of its editor.

Le Chariot, named for the seventh trump of the tarot, was a Parisian astrological review with a wide divinatory reach. Astrology is its backbone — the ascendant and the horoscope, natal charts and monthly forecasts fill its pages — but it moves easily into the neighbouring arts of the tarot and cartomancy, chiromancy (with a curious excursion into the 'chiromancy of the orangutan'), and the making of talismans. Underpinning all of it is a hermetic natural philosophy in which the cosmos is one vast organism and the stars act on plants and men through a universal law of correspondence and signature. It is a good specimen of the early-twentieth-century French occult press, where the diviner's crafts and hermetic doctrine were read as a single science.
