Summary: |
From Pat Deveney's database:
Caveat Emptor. The journal ceased publication in 1974 and then was revived by Steinberg in 1988. This was a light-hearted UFO journal, with reviews of current literature, interviews with prominent figures of the first generation of researchers, "Miscellaneous Trivia," and an extensive letter and opinion column, etc. It gradually moved into the unexplained generally with an underlying openness to conspiracy theories: Sasquatch, Loch Ness, the Shaver Mystery (with articles by Richard Shaver), MJ-12 (Majestic-12), and fads like "Gaia" and Wilhelm Reich’s orgone. It presented interviews with Brad Steiger, Whitley Strieber, Ray Palmer, and most notably Mohammed Ali. The journal listed Robert E. Dickhoff, Ph.D., the propagator of Agartha and the massive South American UFO tunnel systems, as its "Esoteric Advisor."
