This had been founded by Harold Francis Mann in 1927 to promote interest in and encourage research on astrology. He also wrote for Wynn's Astrology and World Astrology. The journal presented reports of the monthly guild meetings and technical articles on astrology, and analysis of horoscopes and the occasional excerpt from Ella Wheeler Wilcox. The April 1942 issue carried a speech given by Marc Edmund Jones, who at one time was vice-president of the guild, before a meeting of the group. Elizabeth Aldrich, who compiled a widely used ephemeris, and had published the New York Astrologer in 1929, was president in 1944. University of California, Santa Barbara. LOC.
